BBDO was formed in 1992, from the merger of two of the oldest, most creative agencies in Canada; the name was then changed to BBDO from McKim/Baker Lovick/BBDO. In 1999, OMD Canada Inc. was launched as a separate media company. In 2001, we launched Proximity Canada as an outgrowth of our Direct Response division and established PentaMark Canada Inc. as a stand-alone entity to handle the DaimlerChrysler business exclusively.
BBDO is a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of BBDO Worldwide Inc., part of Omnicom, a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. In Canada, BBDO has offices in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Windsor and Halifax. |
