On March 2nd, the Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance paid tribute to this year's recipients of the GTA International Awards of Distinction. The awards are presented in recognition of the outstanding achievements by individuals or organizations that have contributed to raising the international profile of the Greater Toronto Area through their leadership, marketing and investment attraction activities.

The GTMA will also paid tribute to its top public and private sector partners who have worked collaboratively with the GTMA to promote the GTA internationally and help attract new investment and employment to the region.

Our past years award winners represent a diverse range of recipients, including: Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid Committee, Vince Carter & the Toronto Raptors, Toronto International Film Festival, Magna International, ITER Canada, Minacs Worldwide and the University of Toronto at Mississauga, to name a few.
